Frigjort and Loppen presents: Tex (SE)

Back in May, Tex announced his sensitive and laid-back arrival on the indie scene with the single "Skyline" to great praise from reviewers at, among others, Line of the Best Fit.

On Saturday October 1st you can experience the Swedish singer-songwriter live in Musikcaféen when he gives his first headliner concert in Copenhagen.

Artists have often drawn inspiration from a myriad of eclectic sources; filmmakers, painters, and poets but for Swedish newcomer Tex, exploring themes of relationships, heartbreak and love are what fuels his inspiration. Armed with a voice that can turn from spine tingling depths to a sugary soft falsetto in the span of one musical measure, the singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer today, shares his debut self-titled EP accompanied by a mesmerising video for song ‘Sound Of You’.

Speaking about his debut EP, Tex explains "I’m such a hoarder when it comes to music, so making this EP with the intent to share it with people, other than friends, has been a fun challenge. It’s a mix of songs that mean a lot to me emotionally and that I think is a good representation of what I personally enjoy making.”

Look forward to an evening of love, when Tex tenderly cares for the wounds of broken Summer romances in Musikcaféen with Swedish 7ebra as special guests.

7ebra consists of twin sisters Inez and Ella from Malmö, who have been playing music together throughout their upbringing. The duo has already achieved a consistent buzz in Sweden despite only having released the single "If I Ask Her", which Danish Undertoner calls both "nostalgic, cute and catchy".

Live, Inez plays electric guitar and sings, while Ella throws herself at both keyboard, organ and mellotron, while manually playing drum samples with her feet and contributing choral harmonies, and the result is, according to her own statement, "beautiful but punk, minimalistic but epic".
